A B58 is 17mm on an 8HP50 and 18mm on an 8HP51. An M57 is 12mm on a 6HP19\/21 and 14mm on a 6HP26\/28. These seal in two completely different ways, and you can see which is which:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBore seal: the 17mm and 18mm.\u003c\/strong\u003e A plain round bore. The fitting goes in and the O-ring seals against the bore wall.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFace seal: the 12mm and 14mm.\u003c\/strong\u003e A stepped, machined port with a flat sealing face at the entry. These replicate the factory formed hardline tips: the O-ring is squeezed against that flat face rather than sealing inside a bore.
