8HP TCU Programming (ACDP) — Tool Rental or Mail-In Service

TCU programming for ZF 8HP transmissions using the ACDP tool, either yourself with our tool or by sending your TCU to us.

Common reasons you'd need it

• MaxxECU setups: flashing the 8HP TCU with the firmware MaxxECU needs to control the transmission. This is the most common use.
• Converting TCU firmware between platforms: for example, running a Dodge 8HP TCU on BMW firmware (or Dodge, BMW, Jaguar and others between each other).
• Other 8HP TCU programming. Not sure if your setup needs it? Contact us before ordering.

Running a CANTCU? You may not need this. CANTCU handles control on its own.

Flash Tool Rental: $150 + $500 refundable core

• We ship you the ACDP tool and you program the TCU yourself.
• 2-week rental period. Need longer? Contact us before your rental ends.
• The $150 rental includes shipping both ways.
• Checkout total is $650, which includes a $500 refundable core deposit.

Mail-In Flash Service: $120

• You ship your TCU to us, we program it and send it back.
• Return shipping is included. You cover shipping to us.

Rental Terms & Core Refund

• Return the complete kit as shipped: the tool, power supply, all cables and all adapters.
• All returned rentals are inspected before the core deposit is refunded. The refund is issued after inspection is complete.
• We reserve the right to reduce or deny the core refund for damage, missing components, late return, or any other reason at our discretion.
• The $150 rental fee is non-refundable once the tool has shipped.
